Fancy Pony Land, Andrea Loest and Amanda deLeon Trunk Show at Mallory Page Gallery

Fancy Pony Land, Andrea Loest and Amanda deLeon Trunk Show will take place Saturday, December 10 from 2 to 8pm at Mallory Page Gallery: 614 Julia Street.

Fancy Pony Land, Andrea Loest and Amanda deLeon will each be present with pieces from their collections.

Fancy Pony Land will be showing a range of skirts, dresses and tops, as well as couture pieces in the “bandage” style for which the line has become known. To make each one-of-a-kind dress, tissue-thin Indian cotton voile is torn in strips, cut in pieces and stitched into round rosettes, which are then hand-draped on the dress form and assembled. We will also show a selection of winter wool jersey Color Block tops and assorted accessories and appliqued pieces

Andrea Loest will be showing a selection of holiday dresses and jackets from her fall and winter collection.  She will also have a special selection of garments from her latest spring 2012 collection, shown during NOLA Fashion Week SS’12, that featured her conceptual garment system Fair Fit. These garments are customizable in terms of color, cut, shape, and material. At the show, Andrea can take orders for individualized custom made pieces.

Amanda deLeon will be showing samples from her previous collections as well as some studio pieces for the holidays.  As a fashion designer, Amanda deLeon’s mission is to engineer clothing that breaks the boundaries of traditional beauty. Due to her architectural background, deLeon’s designs are structural in nature. Her pieces have precise detailing, but remain feminine and fun to wear. deLeon’s goal is to give women confidence in finding their own way to express their point of views about design, art and life.
